For normal communication, you need to hear from both ears, and use both your eyes and ears together. You cannot communicate effectively with only your hearing instruments. For the most effective communication, pay attention to your speaker’s facial expressions, and make sure your visual environment is adequate (good distance and lighting to the speaker). Remember, even with hearing instruments, it can be difficult to hear in certain environments. |
